Wednesday 26 October 2.30pm £3 per person or £10 for a Family Ticket (admits 4 – must include at least 1 adult) Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Families with children aged 6 upwards are in for a rare treat when the multi-talented actress, musician, recent Oxford graduate and debut author Sylvia Bishop heads into town with Erica’s Elephant. Don’t miss the chance to meet the writer of the delightful tale of Erica Perkins who wakes up on her tenth birthday to find a very confused elephant sitting on her door step. But can a small girl and a large elephant learn to live together in a tiny terraced house? And when the owner of the local zoo plots to steal the elephant, will Erica be able to outwit him?
Published by Scholastic at the beginning of June, Erica’s Elephant is getting some fantastic reviews which doesn’t surprise us one bit. Sylvia appeared in last year’s festival as one half of the brilliant musical duo, Peablossom Cabaret so we can guarantee that you are in for a great time.
