Poetry-film is a single entwined entity, a cleaving together of words, sound and vision. Poems presented through a different medium can create new artworks, separate from the original poem and, as a separate work from the text, films can open up poetry to people unreceptive to the written word. Poetry-film can be the perfect marriage between the abstract world of thought and feeling, and the literal world.
