Jenni Murray is a journalist, broadcaster and household name who has presented BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour for nearly thirty years.
Jenni will be in conversation about her most recent book – the history of Britain presented as you’ve never seen it before, through twenty-one women whose lives enthrall and beguile, intrigue and inspire. Women such as Boadicea who battled the Romans, Nancy Astor who fought in Parliament, Emmeline Pankhurst who campaigned for female suffrage and Mary Quant who revolutionised the fashion industry, all women who refused to succumb to the established laws of society and whose lives embodied hope and change.
